SMIKAP. We talk about the Olympics, and wonder what is the highest elevation on the Maldives. We are treated to videos of a woman diver whose head is nibbled on by a shark, a bullet train speeding through a Chinese railway station, and a dog running alongside cross-country skiers at the Olympics.

PASKIM. Haven’t written those six letters together in a long while! Mike brings a Ukrainian wafer cake to celebrate Pascal’s birthday (a few weeks ago) and Ian’s return. Ian also brings truffles. Good times, good times. And we finally get to play Codenames!

MIKS. Pascal and Alain are missing in action, but Ian is back! So we talk about 3-D printing, and his soon-to-be-taken-possession-of new dog. We show Ian how to play Harmonies, and then at his request we play Cryptid, but in that game somebody (who shall remain nameless) misreads his cue and so the game is screwed.

Twice Mike plays a quintuplet of the same cards, to general consternation and groaning. He wins with 25 points after the mandatory five rounds. |

Kevin Caron
|
Kevin does a little bit of everything just right, and he almost reaches the 100 mark with 97 points, enough for first place, 8 points ahead of Mike in second place. |

MSAPK. To take advantage of Burger Fest we go to Cheers before the games, to try their Champi(gn)on burger. Their kitchen is slow and we have to wait an hour before getting our orders, but the burger is excellent. Then at the HFG we take the official 2025 group picture (even though we are now in 2026).

Pascal Werlberger
|
Lots of paws are rolled and people get weak, and then die, relatively quickly, until only Pascal is left standing. |

Saboteur |
Pascal Werlberger
|
Three rounds in which the two saboteurs never succeed. At the end Pascal wins with 6 gold nuggets. |
