Played at Stephan's place. SKIP. Alain sends his regrets and, by way of apologies, provides the attached video. Mike is also absent, for a good reason: Happy Birthday Mike! Stephan takes advantage of the reduced crew to teach a new game, Russian Railroads.

Played at Stephan's place. MISPACK. After a one-week hiatus due to (fake) bad weather, it's a full crew tonight as Carlo makes one of his rare appearances. He also brings a new game, Secret Hitler.

Secret Hitler Alain Haché, Ian Stewart, Kevin Caron, Stephan Reebs The inaugural game sees the native Canadians win as liberals.
Secret Hitler Alain Haché, Pascal Werlberger, Stephan Reebs The second game sees Fascists Stephan and Alain successfully support their Fuhrer Pascal.
Secret Hitler Alain Haché, Carlo-Antonio Marin, Kevin Caron, Mike Gerdov The third game is weird as a procedural glitch at the beginning sees Stephan being the only Fascist, and his evil regime quickly falls apart.
Tsuro Pascal Werlberger After an evening of yelling accusations, it's nice to finish with a zen game of paths. Two tiles left for Pascal.

2

Played at Stephan's place. The usual Kevins, minus Kevin Haché, meet at the HFG and get reacquainted with an oldie but goldie.

Seven Wonders Alain Haché In a close game, Alain with 48 points edges out Stephan with 46, and Pascal and Kevin with 45.
Screw your neighbour Ian Stewart A close race between Alain and Ian, but Alain falters on the last round and Ian triumphs with 116 points.

Notes

Kodama: The Tree Spirits Stephan Reebs The rules say the starting player is the person wearing the most green; none of us is, on the outside, so we have to check our underwear. In the end, we find a few specks of green on Pascal's socks.
Perudo Mike Gerdov Mike's 4 beats Stephan's 2 in the final showdown. Pascal suffers the indignity of losing a dice to the house rule about dice dropped on the floor.
Blokus Mike Gerdov Alain must leave for hockey, so we play a quick game of Blokus. Mike's 7 squares edge out Stephan's and Kevin's 9.
