Power Grid Alain Haché Close game: everybody builds 15 houses, all of them powered except for Ian with 14. Alain wins the tiebreaker with 77 dollars left. Pascal is a close second, being only 2 bucks short of building and powering 16 houses.

Before the games we discuss the various rules for Carcassonne. After the games we discuss Mike’s underwater camera and its waterproofing test tonight in one of Stephan’s buckets.

Stephan and Mike and psyching themselves up for Jean Desforges' last ever chess simultaneous in Moncton tomorrow night (he will retire this summer and move back to Montreal). Mike will try to repeat his success of last year while Stephan will try to avenge his defeat.

Deception: Murder in Hong Kong Alain Haché Murderous Alain easily evades the attention of the investigators led by Mike.
Deception: Murder in Hong Kong Ian Stewart Ian poisons his friend with too much alcool, and leaves so few clues that even a magnifying glass cannot detect them.
Deception: Murder in Hong Kong Ian Stewart, Kevin Caron, Mike Gerdov, Pascal Werlberger, Stephan Reebs Alain is a recidivist, but this time he’s caught at the last moment by last guesser Mike, who under the direction of Pascal noticed the dented folding chair and the upended potted plant.
