Of course these "new" games were not really "new" to Stephan, were they? :) Regardless, Kingdom Builder looks like a fun one to me.

Exactly! Somehow Stephan randomly picks the best winning strategies in those 'new' games. well, I guess the more we play them, the less Stephan advantage will be noticeable. Both new games are great, btw.

I only got them last week, I swear! And I did read the rulebook ahead of time, but somebody`s got to do it ... but I did play one game of Splendor last Friday, I admit.
