Alright, this is going to be a big one. I spent my vacation day on this, but now we should have automated record score system working on our HFG website. Here is how it works; when create new game or edit existing one, now you can specify scoring mechanism; "MAX" or "MIN" direction, and score units like "points", "tiles", "cards", "dice", etc. By default all games have "MAX points" mechanism. Once this is set, it will be used to sort through results. When entering event results, now you should fill new number field with corresponding 'score' whatever the units might be for this particular game. For existing historical results I ran automated search for numbers, and extracted them into corresponding score values. NOTE: this created some errors, since sometimes results contained score as words, sometimes number in results referred to number of players, or beers consumed, or whatever, so that got extracted as score incorrectly :-). Luckily it is easy to fix, just open event for edit, and change the value for result score to proper value, or erase it. If result description contains no score, then score value should be EMPTY (not 0), that is important. I have fixed as many errors as I could find, but there might be some more. So give it a look. Now resulting record scores are similar to what Alan had in his pdf file, but not exact match. I think this is due to the fact that I do not count games which were only played once, or to be exact, games for which score value was recorded only once. I do not consider single score to be the record, otherwise there will be too many records in the pretty big list already. Another thing, contrary to sporting events, I consider a record beat if exactly the same score was reached later again. That allows us to see who was the last finishing with 5 dice left in Perudo for example, otherwise this would be some old date, which will never get beaten. anyway, check it for errors, let me know what you think. P.S. Alan would have to step up his game with manual data mining for season almanacs, HFG AI is catching up.

Wow, this seems to really kick ass. I'll probably need a little in-person tutorial for the dos and don'ts. Nice work!
