Played at Mikes's place. Mike's birthday was yesterday and to mark the occasion in a special way, we went to Room Escape Atlantic. We succeded in making it out of the Hospital Room with over 13 minutes to spare, good enough for third place on the leader board (for now anyway). Good fun. Then it was back to Mike's place for some birthday cake and a few games of Werewolves.

Superb! Wow, if -13 mins gives a 3rd place, am I right to assume that the escape rate must be very low?

Yea. We used one allowed free hint from the room Master. And without it we would not have done it. The nature of this escape was very chaotic, so if we want to go Pro as Escapists, we need to have some process in place, so we would not miss something like this. It was quite fun anyway though. Good times.

The task consists of opening a series of boxes in (an unspecified) order, using keys or numbers or letters to open the lock on each box. Each box contains the clue for opening the next box, as well as partial clues for opening future boxes. There is no team work that I can see (in terms of parallel processing) other than having more minds to solve each particular clue/puzzle. Of course, our minds were first rate, but with experience I now see that our efforts could have been more organized.
